These chocolate caramel pecan turtle candies are delicious, and did not last long. First, chewy caramel is made, then topped with pecans and cut into squares. Chocolate is melted (Dark Chocolate Ghiradelli wafers used here), the bottom of muffin cups are covered and sits until firm. The caramel squares with pecans are added, then covered with chocolate. Serve after the chocolate is cooled, at room temperature or in the fridge.
